African Olive Pigeonadult
They live in moist forest canopies above 1400 metres altitude, thickets and plantations. But they can be found at lower elevation, at about 700 metres. They are not often seen and remain uncommon in this area. They feed in cultivated areas, but they also consume fruit and berries from the canopies, and insects and caterpillars from the ground. Ils vivent dans les canopées des forêts humides au-dessus de 1400 m d'altitude, dans les bosquets et les plantations. Mais on peut les trouver à plus basse altitude, vers 700 mètres. Ils ne sont pas souvent vus car peu communs. Ils se nourrissent dans les cultures, mais consomment aussi des fruits et des baies dans la canopée, et des insectes et chenilles sur le sol.
