Cape Wagtail - Motacilla capensis

They made their nests in the top of a tree fern. Unfortunately, the fern grew, and it pushed the nest off. This happened to two nests, on two different tree ferns. Third time lucky, I hope. These are very cheeky little birdies, and get quite used to humans. In some parts of the country, they will walk into the kitchen to the fridge and ask for cheese. People feed them regularly. Ils ont fait leur nid au sommet d'une fougère. Malheureusement, la fougère grandissait et poussait le nid vers l'extérieur. C'est arrivé avec deux nids, sur deux fougères différentes. La troisième fois, j'espère que cela marchera. Ce sont de petits oiseaux effrontés qui sont bien habitués aux humains. Dans certains endroits, ils entrent dans les cuisines, jusqu'au réfrigérateur et « réclament » du fromage. Les gens les nourrissent régulièrement.
