Saddle-billed Stork - Ephippiorhynchus senegalensis

Stork living in open habitats and wetlands. Its walks along shallow water to catch prey. Male has yellow wattle below the chin, and dark brown eyes. Female lacks wattle and has yellow eyes. About 60 pairs live in Kruger National Park. Uncommon resident. Oiseau vivant en milieu ouvert et humide. Attrape ses proies en eaux peu profondes. Le mâle se reconnait à la barbiche jaune sous le menton et ses yeux brun foncé tandis que la femelle n'a pas de barbiche et a les yeux jaunes. Environ 60 couples vivent dans le Parc National Kruger, mais ce n'est pas un résident habituel.
