Wire-tailed Swallow - Hirundo smithii
Hirondelle à longs brins
Common resident, they perform a rapid flight, and live usually near water, breeding under bridges. We can see their long outer-tail feathers when flying, but female has them shorter than male. They are aerial insectivores.
Résidents communs, ils ont un vol rapide, et vivent habituellement près de l'eau, se reproduisant sous les ponts. On peut voir leurs longues plumes caudales externes en vol, mais la femelle les a plus courtes que le mâle. Ce sont des insectivores qui se nourrissent en vol.
