Comment : Previously widespread in the Philippine islands, this cockatoo now numbers perhaps less than 1,000 and is reduced to only a few places. Its stronghold being the island of Palawan where the LPF supports the conservation programme run by the Katala Foundation. The supporter partnership includes Chester Zoo, CEPA and ZGAP.
Anciennement largement répandu aux Philippines, ce cacatoès compte maintenant peut-être moins de 1000 individus et se trouve dans un habitat restreint. Son bastion étant l'Ile de Palawan où la LPF soutient le programme de conservation entrepris par la Fondation Katala. Les partenaires comprennent le Chester Zoo, CEPA et ZGAP.
