Red-breasted Parakeet
This species has a large geographical range through south and south-east Asia, and seven races are recognised. The photo shows the nominate race P. a. alexandri. It is the only Psittacula parakeet with a reddish breast, which is redder in the female.

Cette espèce a un vaste habitat à travers l'Asie du Sud et du Sud-est, et sept races sont reconnues. La photo montre la race nominale P.a. alexandri. C'est la seule perruche Psittacula qui a la poitrine rougeâtre, et qui est encore plus rouge chez la femelle.
