The Rose-crowned Conure is endemic to Venezuela, where it is found in a small area of the Andes, in the sub-tropical zone. Although it has a small geographical range, it is not a threatened species.
La Conure tête-de-feu est endémique du Vénézuela où on la trouve dans une petite partie des Andes, dans la zone subtropicale. Bien qu'elle ait une petit habitat, ce n'est pas une espèce menacée.
