They live in thornveld, typically in groups of up to 8 birds. They hunt in groups, and often fly in a line behind each other. They feed mainly on insects caught on the ground. Elles vivent dans les steppes d'épineux, en général en bandes de huit individus. Elles chassent en groupes, et volent souvent en ligne, les unes derrière les autres. Elles se nourrissent d'insectes capturés sur le sol.
