Northern Rosella - Platycercus venustus
Perruche gracieuse
This species from northern Australia has more subdued colours than the other rosellas, but it is still distinctive with its black cap and finely scalloped under-parts. It is not found in captivity so much as the other rosella species.
Cette espèce du Nord de l'Australie a des couleurs plus douces que chez les autres rosellas, mais il est encore distinct par sa tête noire et ses parties inférieures finement écaillées. On ne le trouve pas autant en captivité que les autres espèces de rosellas.
