White-bellied Parrot
This is a widespread, lowland Amazonian parrot species, which is popular as a pet. Of the three subspecies, two are shown together in this photo, Pionites l. leucogaster on the right (with green thigh feathers) and Pionites l. xanthomeria on the left.
C'est une espèce de perroquet des plaines Amazoniennes largement répandue, et populaire en tant qu'animal domestique. Des trois sous-espèces, deux sont ensemble sur cette photo. Pionites l. leucogaster sur la droite (avec les plumes vertes sur les cuisses) et Pionites l. xanthomeria à gauche.
