Great Sparrow male, adult — This locally common species is endemic to South West Africa. They live in semi-arid acacias woodlands and dry thornveld.

Cette espèce localement commune est endémique du Sud-ouest de l'Afrique. Ces oiseaux vivent dans les forêts d'acacias semi-arides, et dans les steppes épineuses sèches.
