Southern Pochard male, adult — This common species lives near brackish or freshwater lakes and dams. These birds are gregarious, often seen in small flocks or larger groups after breeding season.
Cette espèce commune vit près des lacs d'eau douce ou saumâtre et des réservoirs. Ces oiseaux sont grégaires, souvent vus en petits groupes, ou en plus grandes bandes après la reproduction.
